The Fulmin Propulsion Corporation, or more simply Fulmin, is a relatively young corporate entity by Umbrian standards. It was founded in 31121 by a number of disaffected engineers from Serlume Stellar Engineering, who were fed up with the bureaucratization and sclerotic decision making of their parent company.

One of the Republic's largest shipbuilding concerns, Consolidated Shipyards originated on Orvieto, in close proximity to both Umbria and Venezia, the political and financial centers of the Republic respectively. It would use this to its advantage, fighting fiercely for the first string of government contracts to build warships for the budding Umbrian Republic Navy.

An up-and-comer in the Umbrian Republic's AI and predictive analytics market, Cianave Systems achieved early success by developing artificial intelligence platforms which were lightweight enough to be used to manage everyday electronics and other personal devices.

Axios Frontier Solutions was one of a handful of early entrants to seize the opportunity presented by the Republic's expansion into the Frontier. Originally a small specialty goods manufacturer, Axios would go all in on the colonial market, shuttering its existing manufacturing facilities in the inner portion of the Republic and establishing itself on Tratirne, Ghiave-Fouteena, and beyond.
