Gela, Rhorde System
Gela is a gleaming gem of a planet; located in the approximate center of the Frontier. It possessed everything that an explorer could hope to find after endless months trapped in the confines of their ship. Her atmospheric composition and pressure, gravity, and temperature range all closely match those of Umbria itself.
Enaria, Fourno System
Constantly pulled to its breaking point and baked by the intense solar discharge of its parent trinary stars, Enaria is the physical embodiment of the Umbrians' mythic underworld. Active vulcanism coupled with its eccentric orbit around its parent stars ensure that what solidified surfaces manage to form are constantly in motion before being subsumed back down into the molten mantel of this hellish world.
Cielomina, Vaghus System
Ceilomina was the administrative center of the Vaghus system, whose four baren planets orbited around their parent blue giant at significant distances. Originally considered inconsequential by the Republic explorers who first discovered it, the settlement of other nearby systems would lead to the establishment of a small refining station, which was capable of refueling the freighters and colony ships that plied the surrounding star lanes.
Habitability Gradient
When considering worlds for potential colonization, the Republic has created a standard two-factor classification system known as the habitability gradient. This alphanumeric value is vitally important for those who seek to settle on or exploit new worlds, as it directly impacts both the private sector and governmental support they are likely to receive for their efforts.
Aurae, Safe Haven
In a relatively empty corner of space just beyond Tratirne, the Umbrian Republic navy happened across a system with tremendous value: a blue supergiant, almost magenta to the naked eye, with a single planet and an expansive debris belt. The planet, named Aurae, contained rich quantities of helium three, while its moons had properties that made them conductive to Umbrian settlement.
Asciano, Sechina System
Despite its inability to support life, Asciano has the unique distinction, for better or for worse, of being one of the most well-known planets in the Frontier. It is considered the greatest boondoggle in Umbrian Republic history or, alternatively, a testament to Umbrian ingenuity and willingness to push the boundaries of science.
